Accessibility statement

Little Horwood Parish Council is constantly working to make our website as accessible and usable as possible.

AbilityNet provides guidance about how to:

Code

Our website has been developed to best practice coding conventions following World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2)

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

  • Some of the annual governance statements are scanned PDF documents which do not comply with the Accessibility Regulations.
  • Accounting reports generated by our Scribe accounting system do not fully comply with the Accessibility Regulations.
  • The Accessibility Regulations do not require us to correct PDFs or other documents published before 23rd September 2018 unless they are essential to providing our services. There are no such essential documents and we do not plan to correct other documents from before this date, for example the minutes of meetings that took place prior to this date.

Consistent page headings and titles

A consistent heading structure has been used so that page information is compatible with access technology.
